Another first place from Ahmet Akyürek, representing the Serapool Team.

The second leg of the 2021 Turkcell GranFondo Series, the Turkcell GranFondo Izmir Road Cycling Race, took place on Sunday, September 5, with the support of the Izmir Governor's Office. Representing the Serapool Team in the competition, Ahmet Hidayet Akyürek finished first in the men's category over the age of 60.

Thousands of amateur and professional cyclists from more than 20 countries pedaled in the race, which consists of two short and long courses of 57 and 105 kilometers.

The revenues from the social responsibility activities held within the scope of the race were transformed into scholarships for the education of the children of families damaged in forest fires and flood disasters, in cooperation with KAHEV and TÜBİSAD.
